FW25 CUBIC
FW25 experimental collection: THINK INSIDE THE BOX
For FW25, KSENIASCHNAIDER does the unthinkable: instead of breaking out of the box, we bring the box into reality. In the digital world, clothes often become boxy, cubic, low-poly due to technical limitations—think Roblox, blocky avatars, and pixelated aesthetics. Typically, fashion adapts to these constraints when entering virtual spaces. This time, we reversed the process, extracting the digital aesthetic and making it physical.
The result? Literal cubes. Jeans, jackets, t-shirts, and caps—all cut into rigid, geometric, box-shaped forms, as if they had been exported straight from a video game. It’s a playful, slightly absurd experiment that started as a joke but quickly turned into a full-fledged conceptual study.
A DUAL PRESENTATION – IN KYIV AND ONLINE
FW25 will be showcased both physically in Kyiv at Ukrainian Fashion Week and in a parallel digital space. For those who can’t attend in person, we’ve built an interactive online world, where visitors can walk through the show, explore the collection, and experience the concept remotely.
A RESET, A STUDENT MOVE, AND A PLAYFUL PROVOCATION
Beyond aesthetics, this collection marks a refresh for KSENIASCHNAIDER—a clean slate, a conceptual reset. It’s an art-school-level move, almost naive in its directness, but that’s what makes it so fun, bold, and strangely liberating. The entire KSENIASCHNAIDER team found themselves laughing, embracing the absurdity, and loving the creative freedom it brought.
