KS x HVOYA

Branded denim from KSENIASCHNAIDER and signature shoe models from Hvoya were seamlessly combined in a collaboration between two Ukrainian brands. The joint collection included fur ballet flats and denim cowboy boots made from black and blue denim.

The development of this brand collaboration began in November 2022, and the first joint shoe collection was presented at the Ksenia Schnaider show in February 2023 during London Fashion Week.

“This is not only a joint project but also a meeting of two worlds, each bringing its own unique style and energy. This is what I love about our collaboration – the voice of both brands is apparent ”, commented designer Ksenia Schnaider.

Both brands actively participated in creating the product at all stages, from design development to production. For the first batch of fur, 60 meters of denim were purchased, which was carefully cut into 6-centimeter-wide strips and sewn onto the main fabric. The finished fabric was then boiled, ironed, and combed to achieve soft denim fur.

Pieces of jeans left over from Ksenia Schnaider's products were used to create the patchwork. These pieces were selected by color and sewn into a mat, from which Hvoya cut out details for the shoes.
