PF25

PF25 Collection: ARMY OF ME

The KSENIASCHNAIDER PF25 collection draws inspiration from the iconic Björk song “Army of Me,” channeling its key themes of self-reliance and resilience. Staying true to their signature experimental style, KSENIASCHNAIDER blends utilitarian aesthetics with avant-garde tailoring to challenge conventional notions of the use of fabric and material in fashion. The collection highlights structured silhouettes in muted military tones and features an eclectic mix of fabrics and fabric offcuts, all presented in line with the brand’s postmodernist tendency rejecting self-seriousness.

At the heart of the collection is the innovative “back pocket” concept, where the classic jeans back pocket—or even a larger piece of denim—is boldly repurposed onto sweaters, trench coats, shirts, and even back onto a new pair of jeans. A standout piece is the slightly oversized structured trench coat, marking a new product category for the brand. This trench coat features a playful twist with a reworked denim back pocket affixed to the back, available in two colour combinations: beige/ blue and black/ grey.

Continuing their exploration of garment construction, the KSENIASCHNAIDER creative duo have deconstructed denim’s iconic gold topstitching, traditionally used for durability, to embroider  denim-shaped ornaments on casual T-shirts and trousers. This technique also informs the creation of intricately quilted denim jackets, skirts, and shorts, further pushing the boundaries of denim design.

A hallmark of the KSENIASCHNAIDER brand, the Zero Waste concept—a collaboration with the rural weaving community from the Chernihiv region of Ukraine—receives a military-inspired update in PF25. The signature Zero Waste Tweed, woven on traditional looms from denim production waste, now enhances skirts, jeans, and jackets in the collection. The use of these reworked tweed-like panels delivers a bold statement of fashion resilience—a commitment to repurposing materials, embracing sustainability and the brand’s dedication to reducіng industry waste.

All back pocket details and Zero Waste panels are crafted using reworked vintage denim.

The PF25 collection will be available from July 2025 and can be purchased at kseniasсhnaider.com and selected stockists.
